The long wait for the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana has finally come to an end. On the day Bihar Assembly Election results were declared, the central government shared a major update for crores of farmers across the country. According to an official announcement made on the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi’s X (formerly Twitter) account, the next installment of ₹2,000 will be deposited directly into farmers’ bank accounts on 19 November 2025.
What the Government Announced
The government posted the update on 14 November, confirming that eligible farmers will receive the 21st installment soon. For months, farmers had been eagerly waiting for this payment, and the new announcement has brought much-needed relief. The ₹2,000 installment is part of the total yearly support of ₹6,000 provided under the PM Kisan scheme.
Important Update on Registration
Along with the installment announcement, the government has also highlighted an important message regarding registrations. Farmers who have not yet completed their e-KYC or whose land records are pending verification must finish the process immediately to avoid delays in receiving future installments. The government has emphasized that only verified and active beneficiaries will get the payment on time.
What Farmers Should Do

Ensure e-KYC is completed on the official PM Kisan portal.
-
Verify land ownership documents with local authorities.

Keep Aadhaar-linked bank accounts active to receive DBT payments without issues.
The PM Kisan Yojana continues to be a crucial support system for small and marginal farmers nationwide, offering timely financial assistance to help them manage agricultural expenses. With the 21st installment confirmed for 19 November, the government has once again reinforced its commitment to farmer welfare.
